WEDDING COUPLE HIGHLIGHT!

” It has been a long journey to get to our wedding day (both in time and location), but I wouldn’t trade any of it. When we met we were both working on a Naval Base in Georgia. He was a marine stationed there, and I was working on base as a contractor for the marine mammal program. The first things that stood out to me about him was that he was independent, strong, and reliable, but his goofy side showed right away too. I was more free spirited in a way that peaked his interest, always wanting to travel and try new things. After about a year I moved 6 hours away (ugh!) to Miami for a new job. He was nothing but supportive of my decision to move for my career, coming to see me when he could, but after a few months we knew we didn’t want to live apart any longer. We decided that when he got out of the military we would move to his hometown in Texas to be near his family. Little did I know that the week before we would get engaged when on a trip visiting my family in Pennsylvania. I was shocked to say the least. After moving to Texas we went through probably one of the hardest years either of us had ever faced. We were learning how to live together, along with the stress that comes with starting new careers, going back to school, and managing our new social life around new people. During this time I think the thing that brought us together was falling into our old roles. He was a constant reliable presence for me in a world that was changing a little too much, and I reminded him that no matter how busy we were, we still had to make time for fun. We leaned on each other, and we made it through that tough time. Since then it has been easy sailing. We understand each other better than we ever have before. Work has calmed down for both of us, we’ve made great new friends, and we’ve grown our little family to 3 dogs and 2 humans. This big day has been a long time coming for us, and were glad we finally get to get married in such a beautiful place surrounded by good friends and family. ”
